 The PTGP project has engaged in discussions with various licensing and certifying agencies regarding the continuing education (CE) potential of any conference or certification classes. Several agencies have expressed positive feedback on the topics we cover. However, it is essential to note that final approval for CE credit rests with individual licensing or certifying boards. Participants are responsible for seeking necessary approvals and documentation from their respective agencies.

We encourage attendees to proactively contact their licensing or certifying bodies to inquire about any eligibility for CE credit.

Upon successful completion of any conference or course, attendees will receive a certificate documenting their participation. While this certificate can serve as valuable verification of attendance and professional development, it is essential to remember that obtaining specific CE / CME credits or certifications may require additional steps, including seeking approval from your licensing or certifying board. License Renewal and Continuing Education 

Therapists, including psychologists, social workers, and counselors, should confirm the continuing education (CE) requirements mandated by their licensing boards. UAMFT (Utah Association For Marriage & Family Therapy) 6 hours of general CEUs approved, (2) of which is suicide prevention.

Utah NASW (National Association of Social Workers) 6 hours of general CEU's approved, (1) of which is suicide prevention.

Credentialing and Re-Credentialing Requirements  CME

The American Academy of Family Physicians Approved 5 CME credits

 The AAFP has reviewed Post Traumatic Growth & Suicide Prevention Conference and deemed it acceptable for up to 5.00 Live AAFP Prescribed credit(s). Term of Approval is from 10/19/2024 to 10/19/2024. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. 

 AAFP Prescribed credit is accepted by the American Medical Association as equivalent to AMA PRA Category 1 credit(s)™ toward the AMA Physician's Recognition Award. When applying for the AMA PRA, Prescribed credit earned must be reported as Prescribed, not as Category 1.
